Apple is gearing up to introduce the iPhone 17 lineup along with iOS 26, a major system update that brings a redesigned user interface and several functional changes. The rollout is expected in just over a month, and the company has now disclosed the list of iPhones eligible for the update.
iOS 26 will introduce a visual overhaul centered on a new interface design Apple calls Liquid Glass. The updated layout adds a semi-transparent effect that adjusts based on what’s displayed on the screen, affecting various parts of the system including app icons, widgets, and navigation elements.
Among the interface changes, a new floating tab bar will appear in built-in apps like Music, News, and Podcasts. This redesigned bar hovers over content and adjusts automatically depending on user interactions such as scrolling or browsing.
